This is spectacular work, it is engaging and well informed. The information lines up very well with my own research, and I now know some places I would very much like to visit. From the potential origin of the culture, relationships in spiritually, the changing ideas behind the study of these peoples. I would very much recommend this to anyone looking for a good primer, refresher, or looking to get a friend into history of this period. I guess I'll address some of these other comments. Please don't throw up and answer or objection because it doesn' fit a pre-established truth to you. Please don't say this is what was done because it makes sense in your head. If you really question what is being said, look further into it. Celtic Warfare by Gioal Canestrelli, The Celts by Peter Berresford, Caesar's Gallic Wars. Mod for Rome Total War was my entry point, Europa Barbarorum.

Im sure i once read that rats fleas were not to blame, so dont know whats true. Glad i didnt live then, but if i had i would have known no better. I hate being thought of as dirty, im a bit ocd regarding cleanliness, people must have been so smelly then and had terrible teeth. So glad im around nowadays.
